It’s already been a year with my camera. My dad got it for me as a 15th birthday gift, but he gave it to me early. At first, I thought I had to learn everything about using a camera. Eventually, I realized that I was wrong. The first photos I took were of my dog, Todd. Over time, I pushed myself to get further out of my comfort zone, and once I got out of it, I was really into it. I love my camera and the experiences I’ve had with it. Over the past year, I’ve challenged myself and I’ve done things I never could’ve imagined.

This year, I want to have more experiences and make new memories. The whole reason I got into photography was because I wanted something to look back on, to show my kids and their children one day. I started this website as a way to share my photos, but also to share a more in-depth explanation of my memories. My biggest fear is forgetting, I’ve already forgotten small details from some hangouts with my friends, which is scary for me. But, I know we’ll make more. I have the photos to look back on and a long explanation to jog my memory.
