October 1st – October 28th, 2025:
Once again, I had the honor of producing and editing the video for the Georgia First Amendment Foundation’s 2025 Charles L. Weltner Freedom of Information Award honoree. Dean of the UGA Grady School of Journalism, Charles Davis, was this year’s honoree.
To produce this video, I worked alongside Richard Griffiths, who has come to be an inspiration to me. Despite the time crunch of producing this video, I was estatic to jump on board.
This video means so much to me. Dean Davis has done so much to futher access to open government and is truly an inspiration. The banquet is always so fun to attend (even though I’m oftentimes the youngest person there), meeting new people and being forced into situations by myself has helped me grow so much.
Once again, I’m incredibly honored to have been a part of this. Congratulations to Dean Davis!
